CAST BONDING is a new component forming process for producing composite products, consisting of a wear and/or corrosion resistant cladding alloy on a wrought steel substrate. The CAST BONDING process enables steel components of a wide range of geometries to be protected with heavy overlays of the selected bonded alloy white irons. TYPICAL PRODUCTS include, pipe spools, reducera, elbows, fittings, valve seats and discs, rolls, coal mill armour, mill hammers, mixer blades and discs.
